As always, our objective is to provide first class chamber music, performed by artists of the highest merit. You will see that the artists and the programmes for each concert in this season show no diminution in quality over previous seasons. Why travel up to London when music of this quality is on your doorsteps!
We are truly grateful to Trinity Methodist Church for hosting us for yet another season. We are very fortunate to be able to continue this happy arrangement in a venue which works so well and receives favourable comment from many of our performers - “I liked the acoustic and the piano so much, I wanted to go on playing.”
We will again be bringing outstanding artists, some of whom we have heard before and some who are new to us – outstanding young talents such as violinist Cerys Jones.
Others are by way of being old friends, amongst whom we are pleased to welcome back our President, Bernard Roberts.
After another successful year, we are offering free tickets to all between 8 and 18 years old, and to those up to 22 years old who are in full time education. This is most generously supported by the CAVATINA Chamber Music Trust to encourage the younger generation to experience chamber music - “CAVATINA brings Young People to Chamber Music and Chamber Music to Young People.”
The Club receives a payment from the Trust towards the ticket costs of all these young people.
