Facilities at the Haymarket
Since the huge redevelopment in 1993 the Haymarket has been able to offer customers a number of great facilities, some of these are available to be hired out for corporate or private use. As they are in the middle of Basingstoke and they are on both train and car route they are very popular for hiring.
The Haymarket have an executive boardroom that can seat up to 420 people and a function room, as well as the room hire they offer dining, in their restaurant or wine bar, they also offer to do lunches on a buffet basis or sit-down dinners. As part of their hire package they will also give you the chance to watch a show as part of the package.
Other facilities that they offer is their theatre, with an auditorium that has two levels and can seat up to 420 people, their staging can be changed easily and it fully equipped with the lasted technical theatre specification, they also offer professional technicians who will help not just with the technical side of your show but also video for you, as well as the normal backstage area which includes dressing rooms and showers. They also have the Haymarket suite with seating for up to 40 people, which is perfect for presentations, seminars, courses etc. As stated above they offer their catering services, they are extremely flexible and will cater on a number of different levels, form cafe, to buffet, they are a licensed restaurant and also have two other bars.
As well as being a restaurant for people hiring out rooms, they are also open to both theatre-goers but also non-theatre-goers. They are opened every lunch time on Monday to Saturday from 12 till 3pm and are open for pre-show meals from 5.30pm to 8pm, with special pre-show themed menus as well as a la carte menu.
Their coffee shop is also open from 9 am and can provide you with both hot and cold drinks, as well as hot and cold food; they have breakfast and light lunch menus available too. With both the coffee shop and restaurant available to you, you can get your pick of what you would like to eat from 1 to 3 courses or a light snack, you are available to pre-book a table or ring for the menu details of the night you are going on.
They of course also have disabled facilities, with lift access, disabled toilets and the auditorium also has special seating for wheelchairs. Price for tickets are also at the concession rate and you are able to book a helper if needed, disabled car parking is also available.
